Anyway. Something that you don't usually get to hear from the repors of these talks is about "trading" people, meaning being allowed to leave one's country and work somewhere else. This is a very delicate issue and I still have not a clear view about the subject, but let's see what I can say.
A pro, is that for people like me, having some experience in a foreign country would be a great way of helping mine. I know I already have some ideas just because I'm studying abroad, but still an economic work experience would really make a difference. A con (of this pro), is that most of the people that go away never go back to actually help their country.
A pro, diversity, open minds, new cultural blends: this is one of the best things about london: you can find anything here. Not like in my country, where all the orientals are "chinese" simply because we don't have any contact with other cultures.
A con, some people are extremely against inter-racial mixtures (and this is not only my grandmother, younger people too!), so these blends could exacerbate racism.
A con, there are definitely some places where everybody would like to go (USA, UK, Canada, Europe, etc... don't know how it works in Asia) and others where most of the people would like to leave, or not go (like, sadly, my own country... not very popular with foreigners, and sometimes not even with colombians!).
The market is already trying to balance migration forces through illegal activities. People saling on aboat, crossing the desert, doing whatever they can to leave their countries and get into a "better" place illegally. And there's other people taking advantage of humain despair and make a business out of it. This human side of migration is heart-breaking.
As I said, not very clear views, but happy to hear yours.
*What is your opinion?*
Economics it's still even today. Even if the economic international system is anything but fair.
